MedCapital is a Portuguese Golden Visa-compliant private equity fund focused on opportunities in the private healthcare industry in Portugal. It intends to invest in areas with a less developed private healthcare sector and smaller penetration of the major private healthcare providers.
MedCapital intends to make about seven investments with a total target size of €50 million and a projected annual return rate of 20 percent.
MedCapital plans to begin divesting in 2026, allowing investors to obtain a full invested capital reimbursement in 2027 (expectation) and capital gains until the Fund’s maturity in 2030.
